High strength high modulus PVA fiber or PVA high-fiber has excellent performances, such as high strength, high modulus, heat resistance, corrosion resistance, UV resistance, excellent impact resistance and adhesion which is subjected to a process of dissolution, spinning, heat-setting, cutting and baling to form a high-strength, high-modulus fiber. This high-strength, high-modulus PVA fiber can disperse quickly and easily in the mortar and concrete mix after being added into the base materials. Due to its fine micro structure and large specific surface area--a cubic centimeter of concrete can contain nearly thirty five fibers, the fiber can form a randomly oriented support system in concrete which thus can effectively control the formation and development of non-structural cracking such as plastic shrinkage cracking and drying shrinkage cracking, effectively reduce the segregation of aggregate and the formation of settlement cracking. As a result, the concrete’s impermeability, impact resistance, toughness and abrasion resistance are greatly improved and thus the architecture’s service life is greatly prolonged. High-strength, high modulus PVA fiber has higher tensile strength and elastic modulus than regular polypropylene fiber and can replace subordinate reinforcement bar in concrete, which makes it superior to PP fiber.,which features high tenacity, high modulus, low elongation, excellent dispensability, alkali resistance, affinity for cement, and etc. It will provide the concrete and mortar with such properties as anti-cracking, impermeability, reinforcement, tenacity, anti-impact, abrasion resistance, frost-resistance, and so on. It can also be used as reinforcing material for plastic products
